Checking the forecast for any ounce of hope came up empty. It was still a defiant 100% chance of rain coming for an intimate wedding that was to be held outdoors at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn. Having spent a few hours with Alexa & James and their daughter, Eris, while doing a photo shoot prior to their wedding, I knew that this weather wouldn’t put a damper on their day at all. They loved the outdoors and everything that came with it.
Watching their family and closest friends gather around them to celebrate their marriage was such a privilege. I was shown, once again, the value of tight-knit family and the kind of loyalty that true friendship brings.
It worked out splendidly that their wedding and reception would end early because it allowed us to go outside after the proper events of the day were over and still capture some lovely images while the rain drizzled on.
Naturally, the true star of the day opens up their gallery…
These are definitely a pair of the most amazing wedding shoes I’ve ever seen.
This tree trunk card box was quite incredible.
Don’t miss the near hidden face in this wonderful moment.
