I had the privilege of meeting Crystal and Frank while assisting her maternity photo session with Darkershadesofbrown. Crystal is a local photographer herself, she’s the brains and talent behind the very popular Dolci Momenti photography. Crystal and I have a great relationship of helping each other’s businesses grow and we’ve been able to second shoot weddings for each other on a few occasions.
Frank is a chiropractor with a successful local business and is a fellow nerd at heart. He’s been a great encouragement as well. It was an awesome opportunity to take some photos of their family which recently became one larger with the birth of Rowan several months ago.
Frank’s family was around for the holidays and they wanted to get some photos with everyone together. Thanks to some very unpredictable weather the weekend of the shoot, the safest place we had to work was at Frank and Crystal’s house. It worked out great for a very relaxed and homey feel to their photos.
I’m a sucker for candids, there’s just something about looking at all the different things that are going on in a random photo… Here’s one while we were getting ready…
And here’s Frank with the cute little baby Rowan.
We started with a few shots of all the kids…
All but one person looking at the camera, I’ll call that a success. I even had the dog’s attention!
Love these photos of the kids with grandma and grandpa!
Cutebomb.
Love these photos of Crystal playing with her newest. Nothing quite like a mommy’s love.
It’s okay dude, don’t hulk out. I didn’t forget about the rest of the kids!
Cooper was getting lonely outside so a few of us went out to play in the snow and keep him some company.
Cutebomb.
Back to the cutebomb.
There’s something altogether too casual about this photo that makes me love it.
Mr. Casual
This happened as well.
Thanks so much for the opportunity to capture these images. It was a blast hanging out with you and your family for a few hours. We even got the snow we had hoped for! I hope you love the photos, and thanks againfor always being an encouragement to my work and business!
