One of my greatest privileges as a wedding photographer is to have the opportunity to capture the weddings of some of my close friends. It’s such a joy to be able to share their special day and at the same time be able to lend my talents to capturing the events of the day and telling their story through images.
If you’ve been to this site in the past, you may have seen Kari & Eric’s engagement session which we shot at Boulder field early this summer. They’re a ton of fun together – super cute and such a perfect fit. I’m really excited to share their wedding images with you today!
They chose the beautiful Moffat estate just outside of Moscow, PA to host their wedding and reception. It’s one of the more beautiful and natural outdoor venues in the area. Great for the DIY couple like these two. Kari and Eric are both prolific crafters and antique lovers – you’ll see some really excellent decorations that they picked out or made themselves!
Let’s start with some images of the Moffat – such a gorgeous day!

The girls arrived first bringing along nearly a hundred freshly grown succulents to use as the centerpieces.

This entire table was handcrafted by Eric for the wedding. Check out the use of hymnbook pages for the surface.

The guys showed up just in time to see that all the work was already done.

Got Broaches?

Dance parties are the best!

Beard Inspection.

And then this:

Jump for joy!

While still agreeing not to see her before the wedding, Eric and Kari took a moment to pray together before the ceremony started. It was one of the more intimate moments I’ve seen as part of a wedding day.

Cutebomb.

It got unexpectedly chilly that day – but thanks to a handful of blankets everyone stuck around to have a good time!

Party Time!

These are a few of my very favorite ring shots ever.

I had the very talented Jason Reidmiller assisting me on this day and he captured most of these precious photobooth moments!

Groom? check. Cupcake? check. Let’s get outta here!

Kari & Eric,
Thanks so much for the opportunity to capture these moments – and even more for being such awesome friends. I’m so glad to see you two so happy together and can’t wait to see what’s in store for you in the future.
