“Has it been a year already?”
Katie & Chris booked me early last fall and we shot their engagement photos almost right away because they were moving to North Carolina to pursue warmer, greener pastures. They were one of the first clients that I booked after starting my business, so their wedding reminded me that Icarus Image was officially almost a whole year old.
They’re a super fun couple who definitely bring out the best in each other so I was looking forward to seeing how their first year in North Carolina had treated them. I knew we would have a great time, also, at the reception with Coaltown Rounders providing some live bluegrass music.
I caught up with the ladies at the Lux Beauty Salon in Wilkes-Barre. The wedding was at St. Alyosius Church of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, also in Wilkes-Barre and we finished the day at the Inne of the Abingtons in Dalton, PA.
Thanks again to Daniel from Darkershadesofbrown for assisting me. He captured some amazing images throughout the day !
Without further suspense, here’s the goods!
Gotta love that “concentrating on my make-up” face.
Oh, and that “concentrating on my food face”…
What a handsome beard… I mean groom.
The almost infamous Coaltown Rounders… Look them up, book them. They’re a great time.
PHOTOBOOTH! I love these things. Katie’s father made all the props for this one!
And one last shot of the lovely couple. Thanks so much for the privilege of creating all these images of your wedding day!
