I still have a very clear memory of my first meeting with Maria & Keith. It wasn’t too long after I had started advertising for my own photography business and I was still extremely nervous going into bridal consultations. While I know that one of the biggest clinchers for wedding photographers is to make the couple feel confident and comfortable with you and your work, Maria & Keith really turned the tables on me. They were so relaxed, friendly and excited that they were the ones who put me at ease.
We had a great time chatting and getting to know each other and they were excited to work with someone who was just getting started and supporting a new business. If you haven’t seen it yet, we also had an absolutely (and ridiculously) excellent time putting this engagement session together.
Needless to say, I’d been looking forward to their wedding all year. We started out at Alexander’s Spa in Scranton, and followed up at the Scranton Cultural Center. We had another opportunity to work with the wonderful Danielle Coons as a second shooter as well. It was great to have her help for another wedding!
As usual, I’ll let the photos do most of the talking!
This contagious smile was all over.
Superhero.
Did I mention she’s a dentist. Of course she’d take time to brush her teeth!
Superhero.
Loved this!
I look at this photo, and I actually think it’s the ring bearer leading the group safely across the road.
Not many boy bands can claim they’re brothers as well.
Let’s get this party started!
Three of the best party shots of the year…
One of my favorite traditions. I love seeing the groom have to fight for his bride! They sure gave Keith a challenge!
Maria & Keith, it’s been such a privilege getting to know you two and I’m super excited to be able to call you two friends more than clients. That’s my goal with every couple that I work with. You two are such wonderful people and I’m lucky to be able to capture these memories for you. I hope that you and your family enjoy the photos and that they can be a blessing in the same way that I see you two are to your friends and family.
