Nicole & Adam,
I’m not much for words with this one. Some of my favorite photos all year – not to mention the extraordinary amount of fun I had with this couple. Props to Jason R. for assisting me in capturing this spectacular day.
Meanwhile… Adam’s “chillin”.
What’s on your mind?
Best pompadour ever!
Use what you got…
Small party inside…
The story about this table is simply amazing. As a boy, Adam had a large willow tree in his yard from which a tree swing was hung. When the tree died recently, Adam had wondered about taking part of the tree to build a table with, but they were worried about how to cut the tree down since the chain that the swing hung from had been consumed into the tree as it grew. Without Adam’s knowledge, his parents had this piece of the tree cut, complete with the swing’s chain and turned into a table as a wedding gift. On the underside of the table are carved the words, “And the boy was happy.” (From Shel Silverstein’s The Giving Tree).
Love this moment… A deep breath to calm the nerves…
The theme of the day, whenever someone started to tear up, was “dance it off”
There’s something wonderful about a groom who tears up a bit…
And the best man’s speech was actually done in song…
That would be in return for this moment from the engagement shoot… 🙂
A gift for Nicole’s mom, seats from Yankee stadium.
Let’s get this party started in here…
A lively jig. Very lively indeed.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
It was such a privilege to be a part of this celebration. Hope you love the photos!
