Last week I had the opportunity to visit some old friends from college and photograph them with their first wee little tyke.
Abi and I had met through a local church where we were both helping in the youth group. We got to be really close friends during my senior year and along with my best friend, Andrew, and her best friend, Karen, we shared many meals, adventures and memories together. The following year, she and Tim would meet and begin a friendship that led to marriage and a beautiful son named James.
It was truly a delight to spend time with them, since it had been quite some time since we’d seen each other. Their house is a quaint little property located on the basil farm that Tim is employed at, and their simple way of life was a very relaxing getaway from the city.
It’s especially great to see how God has molded Abi & Tim’s lives together and onto the same path and blessed them and their devotion. However, words can only go so far to describe this family. I’ll let the images say the rest…
First off… James!
Whistle while you work, Tim. Basil, basil everywhere…
Tasty basil.
That last shot took a bunch of tries because these two couldn’t keep a straight face!
And then James threw up in Tim’s hair. The joys of fatherhood.
Yep, eating my camera strap…
And this was James’ letting everyone know he was done taking photos. Panic face.
Much love and admiration for these 3.
Peace,
Bryan
