When Gina & Bryan came from Long Island to meet me in Scranton, one of the first things Gina said to me was “I hate having my picture taken.” A few hours later, after their engagement session was done, they were excited to hire me to photograph their wedding as well. It was a great way to make new friends – and this couple was an absolute blast to work with.
And what a great love story two – high school sweethearts who had known each other since junior high. While they had grown up together and stayed together through a third of their lives, they were still as cute with each other as if they were on their first date. If you want to check out their engagement photos which took place in Scranton, you can hit this link.
Gina told me that she wanted snow for their wedding and they got it! We had several inches of snow fall a few days before the wedding and then it warmed up nicely for the day of. Almost 50 degrees in January with snow on the ground – it was an absolutely beautiful day at the Woodloch Resort in Hawley, PA!
Quick shout outs to the staff at the resort for their help and organization and to Danielle for assisting me again – it’s always a pleasure to have her along!
These ladies are all smiles in the morning, so delightful!
And the guys are still in their pj’s watching b-ball…
Oh, natty light…
Passing the rings through the guests to get their blessings on a long and happy marriage.
Who says ‘formals’ need to be formal?
Bryan did a fantastic job channeling his inner MJ.
There was a number of football fans in the house! The playoffs were on over by the bar – Ravens v. Broncos.
Mirror shenanigans.
Such a wonderful day, thanks for having me as a part of it!
-Bryan
